I agree with ian kenley on this but i will cheer on Newcastle when on tv as my missus supports them and my grandad came from there.
She does reciprocate and cheered on Palace (her 2nd team since meeting me) against the scousers.

I can accept this all the while we are not in the premiership , but if we get there , then there can only ever be one team - for life.

Notts County, simply because i go to Nottingham at least twice ever year to visit relatives. I like ot take in a football match if theres one on, so if nc are at home thats what i go for. God knows why i like them rather than forest... who knows???

Newcastle - top manager, top stadium, and seem to be a local team supported by local people (not home-county-glory- hunters). Also have a wealth of honest British players mixed with a smattering of international talent.

What all English clubs should aim for I believe

Arsenal.....

Why??? well my father is an Arsenal fan, always has been, always will be. The thing is he used to take me to Selhurst when I was little and so that is why I became a Palace fan, and not an Arsenal fan.
When Ian Wright left I liked to see how Ian was doing, and thought it was great that he beat Cliff Baston's Record. Palace seem to have a very strong connection with Arsenal, what with Palace either loaning, selling or buying players from Arsenal, and it felt a good idea to have Arsenal as my second team. I have been to Highbury a couple of times to see Arsenal play, when Palace haven't been playing (see, Palace come first... waaaaay before Arsenal ever will), and was at Highbury when Arsenal won the title two season back against Everton. The place was a sea of red and white, and I thought.... One day that might be Palace. I can but dream.
Anyway, I am a Palace fan through and through, but it is nice to watch another team, especially one as talented as the present Arsenal side.
I also have a bit of a soft spot for Glasgow Rangers, PSV, Galatasaray (thanks to my neighbours who are Turkish) and Barcalona (as my family are partly Spanish and from the Catalan region).
All I can say is that, if Palace do go into the premiership, I will be supporting Palace. In fact I went to Highbury a couple of seasons back when we played Arsenal in the FA Cup and sat in The North Bank with my Palace shirt on, in fact I left the ground quite quickly as I had two Arsenal fans chase me down the road threatening to kick my head in..... lol.

London Welsh RFC

It's a rugby club in the second division based in richmond, because I'm Welsh, but was born in london(and my gandfather used 2 play 4 them (allegedly)).

Well, apparently I should (and do) look out for the Pompey scores as I live here. This, as well as my grandad supporting them, has led to a strong hatred of all things scumhampton. My grandad's theory is a bit flawed though cos in reality Havant and Waterlooville are my local team!!

Also have a soft spot for Arsenal - if they're good enough for Wrighty post-Palace, they must be good enough for me! I look out for Peterborough for Leon McKenzie and Barry Fry cos he's a character. Aldershot 'cos my maths teacher was a legend and he supported them. He keeps an eye out for Palace now and I do the Shots.

Quite a laugh if you're at the Oval early enough to see the Surrey boys having a kick about -they're my summer entertainment (and I look at the Hampshire results).

Blood's thicker than both water and blondes...

And I'm thicker than all three!!

Torquay - come on you gulls (not seagulls). My mate supports them so I usually take in a couple of games a year when they're nearby. It's good these days as they've always got ex-Eagles (Woozley, Hankin etc)
