Mine is Croydon as my grandad used to play and coach there. He was even caretaker manager for a few weeks. Anyway he told me about the club and i went to see them when palace are away and despite being a poor ground and few fans i like it there.

LOL Croydon are doomed with Dave Garland anywhere near them! He ruins any club he can get his hands on! It's not a bad club apart from the stadium really, although we beat you 3-1 a few weeks back.

Here's a little tale about Croydon FC for ya!
When I was fifteen or sixteen, Croydon drew Millwall in the FA cup, it was the late seventies, anyway, me and some urchin mates used to take a ball over the Crystal Palace Sports Centre and sneak onto the astro turf pitch and have a sly game. Well this one evening we were there and a large group of adult players came along, so we gathered our stuff together, ready to get lost when this geezer comes over and says that they're Croydon FC (and it turned out, he was the manager), and were about to have a training game A team V B team, but due to a bout of the flu at the club, the squad was a little short and would some of us like to make the numbers up in the B team? I know, I know, it sounds far fetched, but it really did happen! Anyway, I went up front and two of my mates went into midfield, and I had one of those rarest of days when everything you touch turns to pure gold! I scored six bleedin' goals against Croydon FC's first team that night, one an absolute screamer from thirty yards and there were quite a few people there to witness it.
Anyway, The sad part of this tale came at the end of the game when the manager made a b-line for me and all these thoughts were spinning 'round my head like 'He's gonna ask me to come for a trial', and 'then when I'm seventeen or eighteen Palace will snap me up!'
But! When he reached me, he walked straight past, and d'ya know what he said as he passed me by?
''That's the last f***ing time I ask you to play!''

True, I swear!

My second favourite team are Barcelona - my uncle who lives in Spain got me, my dad, my cousin and my brother tickets to see a pre-season friendly against Paris St Germain at the Camp Nou last season. That is one of the biggest stadiums I've ever been to - capacity is 98,000, and the biggest stand - a five-tiered stand - has a capacity of 32,000. They won 5-1, and I've supported them aswell as Palace ever since.

Flippin' 'eck Mark, it was '76' or '77', I'll be buggered if I can remember, but, if it's the time your grandad was there, you gotta ask him if he can remember it. If I remember right, Croydon weren't allowed to play the tie at their ground, so it was played at Millwall... or was it played at Dulwich Hamlet? Can't remember! But the game I played in was midweek, the tie was the following weekend and I'm sure Croydon got a draw and went out on the replay, Let me know if it was him and if he remembers that night and especially the street urchin with the golden feet! Hehe!
Right, I'm off out for a few wets!
