what a very responsible piece of prose - not! it is a fact pikey that we do stop these skilled people working for 3 years when they could be helping our ailing economy - crazy!

as i have said before, it is only the wealthier ones who tend to be able to afford to flee and yes, they are generally very skilled. we need them right now, it's not an issue of how we do or don't re train our own. i understand all the reservations people have about asylum seekers, especially at a time like this it is understandable, it's just that it is a subject close to my heart as my mum works at the refugee council in brixton and has to deal with frightened and abused people daily. i just hate all the hysterical propoganda that is going around at the mo.

If they all buggered off and stopped draining our Goverment of ridiculous amounts of money then that is the only way I can see them helping our ailing economy !!
