i've never claimed that. yes every home game for the past 6 seasons (I was only 11 then so don't blame me for before that!). But very few away as it happens. I happen to put my 5 days of school/college plus 1 day of my weekend working ahead of going to every away game. i don't turn up only when bothered, i turn up when i can, and with home games i go out of my way to get there. and personally i don't know any millwall fans, i have a much more intense rivalry with nottingham forest on that basis. and going on club rivalry, I'd say Brighton is a team we hate more. Going on locality, yes Millwall is the closest besides our tenants. But I happen to live near Wimbledon, and they would be MY local rivals. My last point about this shameful subject is that looking back over the season, our away support has always been good - better than last year at least. At Ipswich, on a sunday, albeit after a couple of good wins, we took what i estimate to be about 2800/3000, and made them look silly. Despite losing the lead, our players fought back, showing the resilience we so often crave at palace. Then Butterfield pops up and nicks it with 10 minutes to go - the 3000 that travelled what is a lot further than 6 miles got a good win against a quality side. the satisfaction of an away win is hard to match - but just imagine it against Millwall. Course, most of you will, and will then think 'Oh well, i will next year'. I can bet loads of you were there when we beat em 4-1 on boxing day - what an event eh?i can also bet that most of the people going were there that day. I know the kicking recieved outside wasnt too pleasent but the dens a different place now. Can i go to millwall? nah, im cutting the grass but i will next year. I'll go if you pay for my ticket you mean your actually WILLING to go?? what about a car, and the drinks? shouldnt he pay for them as well? No, my mate's not going this time! He's the tightwad, not me. I'd be happy to go, but I don't think I can get a ticket without £££!

Sod it I really dont have the money to go as im paying for three people to fly to Ibiza myself included but Im gonna dig deep just for this game I am gonna go I love the palace ive been slated for alot of things here in my time Hooliganism, difference of oppinion whatever but this is a local derby and Millwall are one of my pet hates so I will be there in full support go on the palace sod francis I hate the f*cker but I want to see us stuff the scum we've had a good record against the teams I hate this season anyway so I think we have a good chance. As has already been said were in this together so we should all go down there and back each other up if the odd 300 odd wall fans saw 3000 palace fans united they wouldnt bother besides millwall are no where near as bad as they used to be and long may that continue it will only benefit in the community for years to come.
