i was joking kav, of course im going - i wouldnt miss a derby match for the world.
speechless, havent recovered from my fantastic unbelievable amazing trip to anfield to see my beloved palace take on the scousers and win 2-0. i have never been so proud to be an eagle, im just amazed. my only palace |

<rap excuses 1. Dont want to put money into their club - they need it! Have pity on em! 2. Im scared - millwall only sell match tickets to members now, they have had to suffer a 5000 drop in average attendance because of this, a hue loss of income in todays footballing world. If you have a brain (ie get there early, dont wear complete palace uniform, dont give it large outside) there will not be any problems - its unlikely there would be even if you did all of these. 3. It doesnt mean anything - millwall vs crystal palace, a local derby > it means everything. I know, as well as the next fan, that circumstances, such as family events, holiday, severe lack of finances etc, force people to miss these matches, and i completely accept that. But if people live in the croydon/SE area (the main palace catchment area by far and away, obviously), thats what amazes me - im pleased that its not just me either. There is such a lack of unity at this club over certain subjects, if we cant make 1000 for a game like this, its a fckin disgrace and it should make people that are 'thinking' about going fckin sick. Why cant we go and enjoy a day away like this just once in a season? Brighton away hardly happened because of hundreds of reasons, all of which were their fault, but now we have the seats and tickets available we still dont fill an away end.

You're flogging a dead horse,give It up!! Myself and several 1000 others are giving It a miss,so what? It's not the end of the world!! I think I've been to Millwall away 7 times just off the top of my head so I won't be losing any sleep over missing this one!!

Im goin 2 the game, its just habbit as i love to go to games as its something ive always done. I can understand what the people who arent going are saying. Like i say i hate the football we play at the moment but i just cant help goeing. Your safe if you go by supporters coach, we got a police escort last year. lol

What a load of rubbish!! I find it pretty embarrasing that fans won't go because they are scared of a bunch of Millwall fans who are mainly all talk. Fair enough if you just wanna have a relaxing bank holiday but if half the reason you're not going is because you're scared you may aswell stay on one side of the road for the rest of your life. I'm not saying your not true fans, just....ones some of us get slated for. 3. It doesnt mean anything - millwall vs crystal palace, a local derby > it means everything. >>> Let's just say.. I have kids and that puts everything into perspective... A football match against Millwall is not everything... Far from it... I tried to explain to my kids why Millwall fans were beating the crap out of Brummie fans and the Police? Try it?? Not easy... I bet the 2 Leeds fans killed in Turkey didn't go there looking for trouble either?? Nuff said I reckon... If you wanna called me scared then go for it... I can't hand on heart say I wouldn't be with a few thousand thugs staring me down... but of that thousand it only takes one pratt to slot me and then where would my 2 beautiful kids be??? "Daddy went to watch a football match and never came back!!" Ok so that's perhaps an extreme view, but tell that to the families of those Leeds fans... So once again proudly I say "Kiss my Arse" The only thing worth putting my health on the line for is my family. It certainly ain't Palace. Get real people the be all and end all is it's only a game, you wanna have a dig at me then go right ahead... I'll just laugh in your face. Andy Ps The palace badge ain't on my arse either!! :-)

extreme view mate but millwall are no where near as bad as they used to be and long may that continue besides we could go week in week out like turkish fans and they get it alot worse than we do over here.

Andy_eagle, i dont have kids (im only 17) but i can understand wot u mean, they must mean everything to you so you dont want to ever risk losing them but i must say that Turkey is very different to Millwall (ok the same amount of kebeb shops). Over there they dont care about killing and they have a very different attitude. But now over here hooligans will fight the other hooligans and you will certainly never see a knife being used now down the den on a random fan. Im not having a go at you for not going, im just sating that saying you dont want to die is very extreme.

What are you lot like???? Were not banned from home games. We have to sign up for membership to get in and to get this membership you pretty much need to give a DNA test!!!! A lot of ppl haven't been going because of the membership. This season will be the safest for you to travel to the Den. They have had loads of CCTV cameras put along the route from Sth Bermondsy to the Den. There will be loads of OB there aswell. Theres been no trouble this season and there won't be unless you go looking for it. Next season may be different beause the membership will be relaxed. Now stop being a bunch of Nigel Pussys and get yer árses down there!
