I'm sure there was a poster on the site who was saying, at the beginning of March, that some big news was going to break about a bid for the club but he couldn't say much about it. He gave out some information. I cannot remember who it was and I can't find the posts. What I was wondering was if he is in contact with Phil Alexander? If so can he not ask him whethert he rumours about the contact is true?

I would say it was written by someone who has a dislike of the English because (as some Americans are) he/she is jealous of our history and tradition of which they have none and would love to have a fraction of what we have.Either that or they are of bitter Irish decent, there's a few in the states that still have a problem with the English. Before anyone comes out with any pathetic racist accusations I will point out that I personally have no problem with the Irish but the dislike that some Irish Americans have for the English is undisputed fact. Especially in New York. I would like to see a Hambo type responce to that artical on that website to set things straight. Edited by homes (21 Mar 2010 6:35am)

A huge multi-million pound business man! He is a one of the big players in the rap/hiphop world as an artist and producer. Then has branched off into selling fragrances and clothes and loads of other things. You should google him and have a good read.

Well I wake up this morning expecting the story to have been quashed by an outright denial but no, the rumours persist. I cant deny its fun to speculate and daydream that there could be some truth in this but in another way it would be better if an end were put to it so as the administrators identify a true bidder and us fans can return to the real world.
