..yep, as long as we give a good fight on the pitch and make them aware of it on and off then that will be good enough should the worst happen, if the worst happens our players have to be told that the reverse fixture better not repeat itself! the games will be fun and noisy and the Premiership will be better for it, our and their season will rotate around these games, nothing else will matter.

Ok, apologies excepted.Thinking about this overnight, I would like us to play them and grind their faces into the dirt, and if we lose it will make it all the better when we beat them next time. Maybe we could play them in the league and FA cup, because I'd still like them to miss out on that massive windfall, oh the confusion!

The majority of Palace fans despise Brighton for the reasons mentioned and having been to the games between the two which at times had to be experienced to understand...hatred and loathing doesn't come from trivial matters...but then if you needed it explaining (even in brief terms)then I'd suggest you either havent supported us for long (i mean its been mentioned adinfinitum on here over the years)...or that you know perfectly well how the rivalry came in to being but due to having a certain affinity with the Scummers you struggle with it, and as such in your own little way are trying to undermine the mindset fostered over decades for your own piece of mind.
