Hi there...since posting that I have two tickets available ...I have had over 250 requests for the them. I am completely overwhelmed by the response and touching stories. I am not looking to make money from fellow Palace fans....it just does not seem right to me. To be honest, it Is a special occasion and would love to bring a smile to two fellow fans.,. However, any suggestions as to how I can make this as fair as possible would be much appreciated. The only thing I can think of is to put everyone's name in a hat and select this way. Many thanks.....

Sounds a fair way to me, I think asking for a pic of ex amount of away tickets or something along these lines would be fair as people who have got 2 tickets from a friends/family membership all season doing away days stood no chance

You may find a Palace fan with a ticket in the FA allocation bit at the United end willing to swap. However, as I said earlier, there are many Palace fans gutted at not being able to see their team in the only cup final since they were born so you will understand the annoyance of their friends at seeing blatant away fans in our end. We had this with West Ham at the play offs in 2004 and Liverpool 2 years ago. As a United fan your team will be in the cup or Europe repeatedly so you may not understand what it means to us. Anyway, glad you will be showing respect.

Just do what you think Vince - you ARE doing a great thing for fellow Palace fans and you SHOULD feel good about it. Names out of a hat is fine! Don't let it give you a headache.
