We have two choices we can sulk strop and make the forecasts of doom a self fulfilling prophecy or, suck it up embrace change and make the best of it.

I know what I am going to do, I owe it to my kids

I agree, but at this moment there appear to be few positives to the overall outcome. Overnight the opportunity for our children to freely travel, work and even live in 27 countries in the future has been removed, based on what, broken promises already about additional NHS funding, and unspecified immigration limits and controls?

The world will keep spinning, and in a few days I'm sure 'normal' life will return and we will face into the challenges ahead and make the best of it, and I sincerely hope my current concerns and reservations are proved wrong. However, it's not going to happen overnight as a lot of people seem to think, and it could be at least 10 years before we can really judge if this was the right decision for the UK, and Europe.

Please let the season start soon so we've all got something to really moan and worry about 😉😉😄

Day 2

Mayor of Calais requests to French President that we are made to stop our immigration checks over there and take them back in-house.

Moody's cuts UK credit rating outlook to negative.

And in The Times this morning I noticed an engagement announcement of a Ms Shiit and Mr Fan.

No it hasnt, still EU members...

Assume your'e talking about Nigel Farage? He can say what he likes frankly as he isn't the government, he wasn't even in the official out campaign, he is just playing party politics - which sad as it is, won't make a blind bit of difference in the long run.

Bizarrely I think this will mark the death of UKIP, they will now lose almost all their power base as most of their elected officials were in Brussels. They have also just lost two major ideological pillars, the idea of leaving the EU and about introducing an Australian style points system, both will almost certainly happy now.

Mayor of Calais has no ability to rescind the treaty of Tourquet as I think its known, much like Nigel Farage can't decide where to spend the extra money will free up from not paying for EU membership. Hollow words!

As for Moody's, they probably would of done the same if Scotland had left the UK and / or Corbyn gets elected. Once things settle down in the next month or so, things will improve again.

Oddly enough, you failed to mention how the FTSE escaped the worst of the BREXIT shock? Its almost as if you are looking for excuses to talk the UK down....

That's why he's asked the President. It's just a deal and deals - and treaties - can both be ended.

Ftse was down 7 per cent as predicted and finished around 3.2 per cent down and you talk as if that was some kind of Brexit victory?

The only good news is that we can now talk in real time facts about the effects of Leave - positive and negative - as they happen and no more scaremongering.

If you want to spin things you can try but the weight of change will, I suspect, be too strong to put any gloss on.
