Sure, but there's no longer a ticking time bomb behind the scenes. I have no doubt that they will return to profitability in due course.

RBS have a huge ticking time bomb in the form of the Class Action being heard in the courts next year.

Goodwin and Co. to be called upon to explain their actions in terms of the sort they told to investors during a rights issue in 2008.

Lose, and it's hard to see where they go from there as an institution.

Is it sufficient to put their lights out, though?

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

I worked in the treasury dept. for three years in the early eighties until i left by 'mutual consent'.

It was a firkin horrible place even back then.

It still is now according to really good pal of mine who currently works there. The art of smoke and mirrors is alive and well.

The markets (for a long while now) have been artificially inflated with QE (pretend) money. There's no substance to them, so yeah, the markets will collapse (50%+ isn't an unreasonable figure). Warren Buffet is the latest in a long line of multi-billionaires to pull out of the markets which pretty much tells you all you need to know.

As for exchange rates, that'll be the least of our worries.

So I had better put my stock market related pension into what, its gone up loads since Brexit. Is there something I can do to lock into the gains of the market.

Exchange rate is important to me I spend so much of my time in Europe and the US and use Pounds to change up.

The only reason Lloyds is leaking money is because the regulators keep f'ing extending PPI claim deadlines.

Other than that they're now making profits and are back paying dividends!

Blimey. Suddenly Brexit seems piffling.

"a 25 year Great Depression"

Still, Karl did try to warn us, Marx not Pilkington, and so did all those crusties with their demos.

We let the Right and their Capitalist ideology go way too far.
