Depay, hmm? This thread has all the hallmarks of a thread headed: "let's make a cheeky bid for Ronaldo". Is there anything linking him with us?

To me it's a no brainier the guy has bags of potential and is physically perfect for this league, he just needs to be loved and played. Anything under 20mill would be crazy but it won't happen we've just signed schlupp and without another winger leaving I can't see us getting another.

It's a shame we probably won't sign him as zaha and depay supporting benteke. That would be good but with two wingers that cut in would we have evolved as a team ? Would we over rely on that again ? Would benteke ever get a cross again ? Who knows but my bet is depay ends up in Italy.

Such a shame our defence has been so s*** as that's where our money will go as he would be a great signing, prob not gona happen but someone will get a top top player at a great price.
