He does struggle at PMQs. It is obviously not his favoured forum. Having said that I think May struggles as well (just not as much). Compared to David Cameron and Tony Blair, she looks awkward and clumsy in the chamber.

The odd wisecrack fair enough but the validity went a long time ago, probably the ding dongs between Thatcher & Kinnock. As for Corbyn, I just don't understand how people can rate him. Even when he floats an idea that is reasonably well received like last week, he and the Labour Party spend the rest of the day thrashing about trying to put out a coherent message. Then on Sunday he contradicts himself again when he must have known he'd be asked questions.

Performance at PMQ's makes little difference. Hague was brilliant at it - and in the Commons in general but led his party to a massive defeat. Once the public make up their mind about a person it is tough to change it. Hague never recovered from the baseball cap on the rollercoaster and claiming to drink 24 pints a day - or whatever it was. Similarly I dont see Corbyn recovering from his appearance of being a well-meaning but over-eager Sociology lecturer.

Corbyn at PM's Questions today. Big opportunity for him to closely question Theresa May after her Brexit speech. What was the best he could come up with - "irony lady". Although there is no chance of the likes of Corbyn coming to power, we do need an effective opposition to test the parliamentary process.

I think some people forget PMQ's is a showcase of your talent to the general public. Corbyn makes himself look a tw@t on TV and the public draw their own conclusions and don't/won't vote for him. Pulling stunts like McDonell did with "the little red book" which backfired on him as Osborne easily upstaged him and made him look stupid doesn't help either. Also choosing Dianne Abbott as one of your trusted inner circle shows complete ineptitude by Corbyn... she is an embarrassment to The Labour Party.
