Eventhough the clubs had agreed a fee, I doubt he wants to move. He is an Arsenal supporter, so he is going to want to stay there as long as he can. Putting his wage demands was just a way of scuppering the deal. If he really wanted to play football, he would have accepted the terms, which as I understand were exactly the same as he is on now. I don't rate him that much anyway.

Is this sarcasm? Ward has been underperforming since we have been promoted. Before Kelly started playing he was comfortably the weakest player in the team.

Strange one, lack of confidence?? obviously didn't fancy the pressure of signing Thursday and being in the team Saturday! I like Ward, but he needs replacing, so does left back and 1 of our central defenders. And some of the central defenders up for grabs i would have over what we got already!
