4 hour train journey from York university after about about 3 hours sleep from a night out. I went with a Sunderland supporting housemate. Very grim.

It's games like that where I wished I still lived in South Norwood, at least when it was s***e back then it didn't bother me so much because I was home in 5 minutes!! Seems a lot worse with the journey I do now!!
Not that my 100 mile round trip is that far compared to some of you!! Fecking Aberdeen?? Torquay?? I can't decide whether people who do them sort of journeys are very loyal or very stupid

Leave home at 1000, drive to Ryde, get on the fastcat ferry to Portsmouth then Train to East Croydon then another train to selhurst, then the reverse journey home normally getting home around 9pm. To see that!!

You'd hope supporter effort like this would hurt the players?

Was thinking about coming up for the Burnley and Hull games but not so sure now. 320 mile round trip and £400 for both as would be with the nippers. I'd have to be daft to do it but can't say for sure I won't yet.

Probably relegation deciders too. Doubly depressing.....or a miraculous escape
