There are going to be major road and pavement works starting anytime soon that will affect the High Street from Beckenham Junction down to the memorial roundabout (Odeon) works start mid to late February and expect to finish summer 2018 it is going to be a nightmare for motorists, bus routes during the works so beware........... Thank You. My daughter lives in Beckenham so will mention this to her - she might know anyway. Better pass this on to our players because out training ground is in Beckenham.Some can actually walk to the grounds from their 'Pads' !!!!

If you haven't tried to use the Glasgow and Edinburgh Road in the last year you don't know what road works are. This weekend it culminates in a ten-week closure of the whole thing. It's the main - nay, the only - road between the two cities.

Most of the fights are between the two groups of Glaswegians who call themselves respectively "Gers" and "Bhoys". Sometimes a few of them watch football, too.
