red blue / sash over white ~ 79 / 80 all time classic

Fact is, I've bought every shirt - home and away, since 1999. The year I started taking my boy to The Palace.
And he's kept them all and they're all in his wardrobe.
He's like a football nerd. I'd rather he kept comics...Jimmy Carr, Frankie Boyle, Steven K Amos..well not him but you get the jist I'm sure.
And they're all ironed and hung on hangars and in numerical and named order.
Our son is a nerd. And it's all my fault.
Not his mum. She doesn't care.
It's all down to me.
It's my fault.

Exactly, Best kit by a long while and never understood why we never stuck with the sash. It's uniquely Palace, stands out, and trumps every kit design in the football league never mind other Palace kits!

Find the red & blue of recent times dull!

I like the old classic claret with thin blue stripes.Prefer that to red and blue,certainly not a fan of this season's shirt.

The Admiral sash kit from 77-80, it's when I started supporting Palace and it the best we have had. The Bukta red and blue kit of the late 80s, sponsored by Virgin is the first shirt I bought and my fav red and blue shirt.

Nothing beats this one though
