Now comes the resignations of the UKIP leaders in Liverpool and Merseyside, not over Mr. Nuttall but over a Tweet from a major party donor saying he was "sick to death" hearing about Hillsborough. I don't know how it will affect a by-election in Stoke but given the investigation into criminal activity, particularly a conspiracy to pervert the course of justice, I would think many in the UK want to see justice done. After all, this is a cover up that lasted a quarter century and is linked to similar tactics used by South Yorkshire Police leadership during the NUM Strike. It's not really about that but more he now has to argue his case and forge ideas that will be put to his constituents at the next GE, much like the many other MPs in the past who have 'crossed the floor'.
