Klopp's not ruled out having him back at Liverpool:

More a case of not saying either yes or no to whether he'd be welcomed back, keeping his cards close to his chest. Klopp's the only one that knows really if he might go back.

Hope we keep him.

Delaneys days do seem numbered in any event.

The new signings that have come in have gelled really quickly, and we look a much more balanced and solid team because of them. Gives me confidence in Sam getting the recruitment right in the summer.

Providing we do stay up I think we need to make a centre back one of our big signings in the summer, either get a huge coup on a player out of contract or have to make a £20m-25m signing of proven quality. Sakho is making Tomkins look a better player than he actually is imo.

If Liverpool will sell in the summer I'm hoping we pay to keep him and also I'm hoping that he may even want to stay especially if benteke does as that could also be a factor.

I wonder if we have an option to buy - I guess we do - but there are factors we cannot control. He's put himself in the shop window.

Best defender since Claude!

I think if we can spend the money on him we should. Honestly this guy is more important to the team then Benteke right now. And I really like and rate Benteke I'm not suggesting we get rid, just that how we play, having a CB that can play football and is so good at the nitty gritty as well is insane. I can't see why Liverpool want rid other than Koop trying to be billy big bollocks because he doesn't get on with him.

Best CB I have seen at Selhurst ability wise

Speak to any Liverpool fan and I have a few at work and they all say he's Liverpools best defender. When we signed him on loan someone said to me he'll do great for you lot and he'll help keep you up. Looking to be spot on.

Worth pursuing like Ashley Cole. Promise him the armband. He can be the rock in which the team can be built around for many seasons. Cabaye's still in the French fold playing here. Since Jedi has gone we have struggled with a leader, this guy looks a natural. Every team needs that type of focal point.

For me the best of the new players post SA.
2 games and 2 MOTM. We should do whatever we can to buy him. He is a quality defender. I cant believe that this falling out with Klopp got to this stage. The problem is once the red mist fades Klopp will either realise he's a real asset and keep him or sell him to the highest bidder.
They paid £18m and he's 27. I suspect there will be no change out of £20m. We should pay it.

Played 2 games now both games we've won.
He makes us a lot more solid at the back & as mentioned Tomkins has stepped his game up too.
I'm guessing we'll play Sakho & Tomkins/Dann now at the back for the rest of the season.
Not sure all 3 at the back works as good.
