If we offered what Liverpool wanted they I think they would accept, because it gives Klopp cash to get a high quality centre back he wants.

Also, don't discount we have the draw of living in London, which can be very powerful for footballers.

It all depends on whether Sakho wanted to come and of course that we stay up.

Klopp doesn't want Sakho or he'd kept him.
I do wonder if Sakho burnt his bridges at Anfield.
Hope he loves us

This guy is a world class defender. We have no chance of signing him permanently... He was brought in to do a job and so far is doing it. If we stay up its mission accomplished but as much as I love Palace he's to good for us.

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

As a January loan to season end he has around four months in which it is hoped he will feel appreciated. He is already putting in the performances - playing every week - that make him get vibes from us that he is wanted. I am sure that the squad and Sam will also be welcoming him. When he hears "he's just too good for you " in respect of Wilfred, others, and perhaps himself he will receive - by osmosis - the transfusion that will turn his blood red and blue, and will wish to stay.

i have a couple good friends who are long time liverpool supporters, they currently very baffled by Sakho being here and Liverpool playing makeshift defenders. Pool fans love Klopp but many are starting to ask questions.
I think Sakho's long term future is still with Liverpool, this is just Klopp giving him a timeout.

I'm sure there must be a few Southampton players Liverpool have lined up for the summer.

Even if we stay up we may well end up losing Sakho and Wilf from the current squad, probably our two best players in the last two games. We'd need to replace both as quickly as possible in the window (even if we get relegated we'll need replacements in those positions to have a chance of getting back up). Hopefully our scouting network is already looking at the right sort of player.

I'd be a very happy man if Wilf and Sakho are still in red and blue next season.

Is it just me or is Sakho a much more skillful version of Claude Davis? They look similar(ish)and both would get 100% for effort and commitment. Sakho distributes the ball a bit like Claude - hits a mean long ball but close control and passing under pressure are a tiny bit iffy (maybe that is just because he is still a bit rusty). Sakho has not shown great psycho tendencies yet but I sense he has the potential to.

Anyway, it does show how far we have come. Claude was an OK Championship defender with lots of heart and here we are with a Champions League defender leading us out of trouble. It is a shame it is only a loan if Liverpool don't want him back then I think he will have the choice of a lot of clubs that will.

First class quality player ..... but lets not forget that he has a point to prove to the bin dippers.
Every game he plays and he gets rave reviews is him shouting at them, I am this good and you didn't want me.
If he wants to come to London for good and we can pay the salary and fee I think he would love playing for us.
Lets face it he loves us because he knows he his that good in our team and he can show his leadership credentials as well.
Marvellous
