It's quite possible that one or other or both may not have a choice. It is an area where Sam may well wish to strengthen and Hennessey, as it stands, seems the most likely to be here next season, even if he's the number 2. That could change, of course, but whilst we're winning games and/or achieving clean sheets, that seems unlikely.

Absolutely long way to go yet. However I don't think Mandanda will shift Hennessey out of the no 1 spot unless he has an absolute howler or gets injured before May.

No. Even if Hennessey isn't top class, Mandanda is. He just hasn't had the time to show it. So many years of being the best in France were not accident
