The sad thing about Wilf is that Ivory Coast were so bad in the African Cup. Surely he must've wondered what he'd done and regretted not waiting a bit longer for Southgate to pick him ?

The way Zaha has been playing under Allardyce makes me realise two things. 2. We are all going to be proud to say he was at Palace when he is performing for someone like Barcelona. In recent games he is reminding me so much of Neyma. If he keeps improving, he could become a top player in the world rankings. The guy is sheer class. Hi is so fast now. his control has improved and he is so direct. If he was properly protected by refs he would be away. His future is so bright.

He did the best thing! Why the hell would you want to play for that unimaginative, shower of s***! A variety of managers picking the same players, playing the same boring tactics. International football for me is up there with cricket, can't really see the point. I can't think of anything worse than watching a load of middle of the road city, Liverpool, united and Spurs players and be expected to support them.

Bad attitude from you all towards my country team. I AGREE WE ARE SH*T but so are Palace sometimes and I still follow them. If we would only start picking inspiring players like Wilf who should be playing for my team then it would all be different. Of course if you blokes are from some other country then fair play.

Winks (Spurs) on the verge, Sterling, Jones in the squad (although injured), even Luke Shaw is picked. And he's not in his club side. WZ did the right thing and would probably not have been picked now anyway. Just hope he stays and next weekend not try to take on the whole Chelsea team. At once...

I don't know much about Zaha and his upbringing but I would guess that when Mr & Mrs Zaha moved to England with their eight children the country invested quite heavily in them

I like Cricket and want us to do well in major footy tournaments. Ironically I feel the same way about American Football, Baseball and Basketball but there you go.
