Agree, they have winnable games at home (Watford,Sunderland and Boro) which would give them 39,and away games at Stoke Southampton and Us.
If they do well anybody from Southampton (10th) downwards is in trouble.

wouldn't it be hilarious if Sunderland, Boro and Hull all went down the hatch at the same time. Call it the north-east tsunami

Eze Peasy at Anfield....

I think people are counting out Hull too early. They actually look impressive to me. I've mentioned it before but I think their results are under the radar as they aren't putting together back to back wins.

In the last 10 games they have a better record than Leicester and have only lost to Chelsea, Arsenal, Everton and the resurgent champions. With a fairly favourable run in, I still believe they will escape relegation.

They beat Liverpool (at home) 2 months ago. Otherwise, they've lost to good teams and beaten a couple of bad teams. Nothing in their 2017 form suggests that they are going to make a run up the table.

They have Boro at home this week, but then a lot of very losable games thereafter until they play Sunderland the week before they come to Selhurst. They may survive, but I don't see it being at our expense.

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football.

Yeah, I agree, I don't see them overtaking us either and hopefully they play terribly and go down but they are performing well under Silva.

They have only dropped 2 points at home since the manager arrived (also beating Swansea and Man Utd in cup games at the KC) and while they will likely lose their match away to City on the 8th they are surely favourites to win the Boro match 3 days prior.

The reason I think they may escape is the way their fixtures fall. Many of the games they have left are against teams close to guaranteeing themselves survival, I have a feeling that some of their opponents may have little or nothing to play for by the time they play Hull. Even the Spurs game on the last day of the season may only be important for one team.

Apart from that final game, they have 3 home matches against Boro, Watford and Sunderland all winnable and their home form could see them survive.

Boro and Sunderland look dead, Hull have some fight them so it will be a scrap. Also bear in mind there is only 3 pts between us and 10th place Southampton so it's going to a be an utter scrum as I think there will be other teams that will dragged into the maelstrom.... and of course we'll in the middle of it.

Everyone needs to calm down. Getting arrogant will cost us, luckily Sam doesn't think like many on here.

We need 9 points from 9 games to get to 40. I will respect every single one of those points.

I agree with you. Hull is only two points behind Swansea and four points behind us. Marco Silva has made some great signings and I don't think they will be relegated by the time we play them at Selhurst. That game will be a massive six-pointer.

Speroni would've saved it!

Great point. Burnley has terrible away form and their home form is cooling down, so they could be in for a fight.
