That's an impressive list of foreign clubs BUT what has it achieved for Mr Monk? Has he won anything or got to any play offs or Cup Finals??

Is £5m a lot?

About 1/20th of the club's annual revenue (according to the recent 'Steve Parish' Times article)

A little bit less than Wilf's new annual pay.

Two and a half times what we paid Liverpool for Sakho's services for 8 appearances (1 not completed).

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

There isn't even much media speculation about anybody at the moment for us to get our teeth into

Another false allegation.
I actually spoke to a Leicester supporter from Barwell who gave me this information.I speak to a lot of people about football.

One has to feel sorry for Milivojević, Van Aanholt and Schlupp who seem to have been forgotten already

This. Sakho was most influential but Luka not far behind. And we would have been relegated without a decent left back, the most glaring flaw in our team.

Forget about Silva _ it's gone and maybe it's a good thing.
When a TV reporter asked Big Sam if he felt sorry for Silva during that last home game Sam said no he didn't because at the end of the day Paul Clement,Sean Dyche,Craig Shakespeare and himself had been good enough to keep their teams up - the others had failed and therefore weren't good enough - end of !

On top of that the very fact that he has picked Watford is a sign of a poor decision making!

Parish has seen us right every time before and I have faith in him now.

At Leicester he spent a total of approx £95 Mill if all the add-ons kick in.
Apart from Kante, I don't belive any of the others were major influences ie Kapustzka, Musa,Inler,Ndidi,Mendy,Benalouane etc etc.

Edited by Willo (27 May 2017 10.33am)

Kante was a steve Walsh signing , ranieri didn't even want him and had to be convinced to take him.
