If you're saying Hodgson definitely won't be doing that then I'm starting to warm to the idea of his appointment.

I'd be happy with Sean Dyce, seems like an honest and hard working English manager who has done an amazing job at Burnley on a shoestring budget. He plays a similar style of football to us and think he would do wonders with a better squad like ours, he isn't too old either which is a massive plus!

Dyche is a good manager but no chance I'd say, Spalletti or tuchel would be a great step towards attractive football. Personally I can't take woy! The man that made Kane take corners and told Roberyo Carlos he wouldn't make it as a footballer!

Monk has more miles on the clock than Hodgson and because of Hodgson's age anyone he signs will be on a short term deal. Hodgson also has dull and training methods when in a time when football is evolving is hardly ideal. If Hodgson did become involved at Palace it should be as a director of football passing on knowledge and advice to a younger forward thinking coach. Just my opinion.
