I think it's a case of if you build it (a wonky warehouse, with padded seats, in the middle of nowhere with abysmal transport links) they will come. They had a core support, about half the size of ours, and the rest are just clip-ons attracted by the stadium and seeing Championship football, plus the possibility they might get to see their PL club in a cup game. Now they're promoted they'll definitely be able to see their 'first-choice' club at least once a season.

I'd like them to have a tough away game as their opener but not against any of the 'big boys' because I wouldn't want them to have the joy of watching both their teams on the opening day. Away to West Brom would probably be a good one as their defence is pretty solid and it would be tough for the Seaweed to get anything there.

Palace at home. Lose 0-4 and get 2 players sent off losing their cool at 0-3 yet use it in usual style as the reason they were humiliated. Whole away end singing 'you're going down' and all of the home ends exiting with 15 to go apart from those Palace fans dotted around dancing in the aisles. Murray comes over to the Palace fans, takes his shirt off and throws it to the ground. They want him sold asap and he signs for us again as our 4th choice striker, scoring the 5th against them at Selhurst near the end of the season to confirm their relegation.
