Yes, let's. But we will need a list of those things to start it off. Highlight the negative impacts that are specific to it like FGM and not stuff that is across the board within ethic and non-ethnic groups and a debating cul-de-sac like drug crime.

So, what are these number of thing that you are offended by that the country has had to endure since modern immigration began?

The Polish sausages in Tesco have turned my wife's head.

Is "coloured" that bad? There's an African guy at work, probably the blackest guy I know (as if there was such thing as a grading system) and he said to me the other day "Bournemouth have signed that guy from Chelsea, you know, the tall coloured guy".

I had to stifle a giggle.

It's not bad just outdated and dying out. All the olds and plenty of young used it in the 70's but so did South Africa during Apartheid as did segregated America back in the day. Just has a negativity about it now for most apart from some of the older generation I suppose.

Still this is a sensitive multi cultural situation which long after I am pushing up the daisies will be resolved either by free speech being taken away from us by the looney left or the mad mullahs.
Oh damn I said mad mullahs should I be banned?

It is about a person/people. Relates to Freedmen and escaping slaves/ex-slaves fleeing to safe states before getting lynched by the Southern lot post American Civil War by hiding amongst logs.

I'll decide what is offensive to me thanks. I don't need your guidelines.
The bottom line is I don't want to hear about some woman saying a naughty word in the context of a country with vastly increased street crime, terrorism, drug dealing, gang culture ,mass child abuse specifically involving white girls, no go ghettos, backward religious practices etc, all as a result of immigration.

I try not to describe people in relation to their gender, religion, sexuality, ethnicity or football team any more anyway so I don't need to know the PC words for stuff. There's always something else to go on, like "the fella with the afro and the Tupac t-shirt".

Are you offended when a black person uses 'the word' (is it ok to use the phrase 'the word' by the way as it is simply replacing the offensive word). Of course I used the pronoun 'they', would you rather I used 'we'? I agree that the figure of speech in question is not used these days and neither should it be, but it was in fairly common usage when I was a child - but I am quite old. Also your statement that I am 'leaping to the defence' of the use of the word, if you read my posts, it is clear that I am not.

'They' and 'we' as your only options just displays a them and us mindset really, as if that was the only way to discuss this matter..

Much in the same way that Labour were damaged with the Jewish community and their response to some of what went on there, the only sensible response to a politician slipping 'N*gger in the woodpile' into a sentence like it's nothing is to condemn it, not excuse it or clutch at straws to attack elsewhere. Regardless of a person's political hue this isn't a difficult one.

Well, there was more street crime and child abuse in Victorian times and gang culture was big before you and I were even born and is today as well especially in places like Glasgow and South London and not forgetting the hooligan firms. So it's not really specific to immigration as such. More socio-economic. As for terrorism that also has come from various groups here in the UK since the 70's to today so again not specific to immigration when looked at as a whole.

Fact is the majority of crimes are committed by the natives and not immigrants. Some areas of crime will be disproportionate amongst ethnic lines but again those crimes aren't perpetrated by one type of immigrant group save for FGM and 'honour' attacks. They are committed by various ones and indigenous ones too.

So, I ask again - what are these number of things that you are offended by that the country has had to endure since modern immigration began? That we wouldn't have had if we hadn't had had the immigration you are thinking about.

I haven't excused it or clutched at any straws, I'm more than happy to condemn it. I just think it is blown up out all proportion. Talking of blowing up, I see that Michael Hayes, P***y terrorist has said he made the bombs that killed and maimed many people in Birmingham. Will Sin Fein withdraw the whip?

Actually it's on the telly quite often, but when Guy Gibson calls out his dog's name the word "boy" is awkwardly dubbed over it.

Blown out of proportion so much that you are desperate to talk about anything but this issue in a thread about the issue it seems. But then again as you've said 'in your day' it was fine to blurt this out so what's the biggy. It certainly does seem that 'withdrawing the whip' is something that has unsettled you. Anyway carry on... No more replies to this nonsense from me here. Have fun.

Codswallop.
Very little is specific. That is a poor argument.
