You don't mean Matt? He could not count to 22 without taking his shoes off.

And you have the nerve to call me 'King Troll'.

If you didn't want a response, why would you reference me in a post that has nothing to do with me, hypocrite?

Angela Rayner gets savaged by Piers Morgan over the student debt 'ambition':

[Link]

It is dreadful behaviour from Labour, making out they will 'deal with' student debt before the election and then u-turning afterwards stating it is an 'ambition'. Lots of people voted for them on the assumption that they would write off student debt.

'Labour will reintroduce maintenance grants for university students, and we will abolish university tuition fees'.

That is what the labour manifesto actually states.

Jeremy Corbyn has been consistent in my view no pledge was made to write-off student debts at all.

It's deflection from the fact there's only one party that have reneged on manifesto promises.

The fact they're continuing to equate 'look into' the issue of those that have already paid tuition fees to 'promising to repay them' and that they are not the same thing is neither here nor there with you is it?

Give a 'feel good' impression to create good publicity and then later on the reality comes out that's it's all noise with no substance.

I think if May had done this you'd be all over it like brass at a bank trader's night party.

What Corbyn was quoted as saying is this:

“Yes, there is a block of those that currently have a massive debt, and I’m looking at ways that we could reduce that, ameliorate that, lengthen the period of paying it off, or some other means of reducing that debt burden.”

Now other ministers may have muddied the waters a bit with what they've said, but Corbyn in no way promised to wipe student debt for those that paid tuition fees. Some of the media and others - sir Alan Sugar has tweeted that Corbyn should resign over the issue - are still hawking the Corbyn goes back on promise s***e..

Thing is, I'd imagine that those affected don't read the media that are lying about ty Corbyn anyway.

Some of them at least six times each...ah, democracy is increasingly being perverted by left-wing factions as ever.

Well of course his political opponents are looking to make capital over his 'feel good' waffle....Because that's what it was Nick.

'Looking at ways to reduce that'..... We are talking about 60 billion to a 100 billion here....He was waffling.

Still so what....I didn't criticise him....This is what politicians do.....I was just highlighting the fact that if May had done this you'd have been doing what Corbyn's opponents are doing now.

So moaning about them being unreasonable and disfiguring the meaning of comments....is in a sense moaning about yourself.

The national media are Corbyn's political opponents. At last the penny has dropped!
