Nothing to do with spending money. The system didn't work. The players don't suit it and apart from Loftus-Cheek Everyone played sh*t.

Conmitment and organisation is how bad teams get a fighting chance. We need a goalie as Hennessy is a disgrace, a number 10 and at least one more striker,then reinforcements. We have players to compete ATM but we are terrible on the ball, have been for a while and FDBs philosophy is astonishing firstly that pardew tried to do the same thing before and secondly for Parish buying into it and then not investing. I will repeat again, ASTONISHING!!! We are absolutely f@!ked if this carries on. there is no way it will or would have ever worked, have people gone insane ?
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

We had Huddersfield show FDB the system doesn't work for us. Imagine if we played against a stronger Prem team today. It would have been 6+ goals. Does anyone know if FdB persisted with this system at Inter before getting tinned, or did he try other things? If he is stubborn about this then god help us. Edited by benjo (12 Aug 2017 5.21pm)

Agree with you 100 percent mate . The system just didn't work. We done alright last season and looked strong at the back. It was a bit worrying at times . Loftus cheek was stand out in the 2nd half . If it ain't broke don't try to fix it . Frank .just get the best out of the players and system we had . It worked for bfs.

The loss isn't the problem its the way we lost, no matter what system we adopt. We expect the team to be competitive especially at home so have every right to feel annoyed. I'll give Frank a go but maybe others won't be so willing to wait and I don't blame them?
