Glastonbury had a higher arrest rate than Notting Hill. But that's mainly white so you can ignore that.

Bulls***!

Why aren't you complaining about the death of a young man at Reading festival?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not defending the unruly element. Not in the slightest.

Did you go on any of the anti capitalist marches? Which ones?
Because you sure as heII wouldn't get an idea of the racial demographics on such a march from the scant tv and media coverage such marches

Having been on many marches (none of which were billed as being anti capitalist ) I can assure you there is a good ethnic mix.

I look forward to your response.

Edit. Just noticed your edit.

Stafford Scott of the monitoring group, set up in the 1970s to challenge police racism, said feelings were running high among many in the black community and levels of anger were “very close” to conditions before the Broadwater farm riots in Tottenham 32 years ago. “There’s a feeling that the police are waging a war against the black community,” said Scott. Jair Tavares, Da Costa’s cousin, said the family was calling for the officers involved to be suspended and believed that recent policing tactics had stirred tensions. “It’s almost like they want something to happen so they can shut it [the carnival] down,” said Tavares. “If anything, people should be scared of going to the carnival because the police are something to be scared of. They don’t guarantee our safety.”

Of course, It's all the police's fault.

Over-stating what ? I'm really not sure what you mean about this or "3 examples".Are you suggesting that the facts of the violence have been over-stated or have been embellished ?

Regarding the 'Reading festival' I have not been aware of the death so don't know the circumstances, accordingly cannot comment.

Apropos the 'Anti-Capitalist' matches, you mentioned an ethnic mix and you will know better than me as you go on them.Point I was making was that disgraceful violence was not just confined to blacks and I don't have any agenda against people of such colour.

At the end of the day I don't have all the facts about the NHC.All I will say is that it is a real shame that such a celebration is marred by those hell-bent on ruining a good day out for many. And it is a real shame that music festivals also attract those who find themselves being arrested for various reasons.Shame on them all, whatever colour, ethnicity they are.

Go on. You say about left wing violence during anti capitalist marches, surely you can come up with specific examples.

Don't be so ridiculous.
You know darned well that there have been violence on such demonstrations/marches etc so I am not going to waste my time delving into "Specific examples".

I'm not going to be 'Gusseting' around the Internet looking for examples and provide links.

How many people were involved in the violence on these marches? It's true any violence should be frowned upon, but put it in some perspective for your readers. Thirty people involved or hundreds. It's difficult to tell from the pictures in the mail.
