Some of you Hennesey supporters theories are actually crazy. More crazy than you believing he is an adequate keeper.

Position ever to kick on(bar the early 90's) and he is causing untold damage to our cause. More than most can see. Or care to see.
We need to fight just to stay in this league and I'm afraid that players like Wayne with zero fight in them will just not do.

I agree with your sentiments - he could almost single handedly send us down.

I would replace him with Jules immediately even though he is 38 years old and doesn't command his area as well as other PL Keepers (pat least he won't shirk situations ala Sane goal, Fellini goals.

So, if we don't score any goals, it Hennessey that is responsible if we get relegated.

IF you have read all threads on our striker situation you will find and notice that I HAVE said that our "Super" striker is a lazy useless player and stands around until the ball gets to his head when he should be chasing lost causes and challenging for the ball much more than he does. As for Wayne he is in the Wales team due to the fact there is no-one else to choose from. The point being made is that he cannot stop the ball going into the net and IF he did then we would get at least a point or two. You have to be honest and say he is past his sell by date and putting our other keeper I for a couple of games can do no harm whatsoever and it might even prove that we CAN keep a clean sheet and the team just might feel safer with a new pair of hands as a stopper? Wayne might be a great bloke as a person but is scared of his own shadow which is the reason he is so flappable and just stands there. Perhaps Roy might see his faults and get him to do better in training or even put him on the bench for a while and make him fight for his place. It has worked before and might just work again. we shall see.

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky.

I am getting embarrassed by comments when people see my Eagles car stickers. Getting rid of de Boer was a hapless blunder only excelled by bringing in the failed ex-England manager. I have lost faith in Steve Parish.

And even he failed the next time out.

Wayne Hennessey, gets a lot of stick, he's not great but he's no s**t either. Pretty average keeper at this level I think, we could definitely do better, but we've had worse at this level.
