However his Palace career was mainly in the Championship whereas Hennessy's in the PL which has some of the finest attackers in the world and far far stronger teams. De Boer undid all that but hopefully if Dann, Tomkins and Sakho can stay fit maybe we can start to stop leaking goals by tighter marking and no mistakes such as against Burnley, Soton and Liverpool.

But Speroni did have seasons in the prem when he did well! Pulis never dropped him even though I think he wanted to. I also think he played some of his best football parts of those seasons.

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky. |

I couldn't give a flying turd how much experience Wayne has over Jules. The two main seasons that Jules was in goal we've finished in a higher position than we have with Wayne with a much weaker defence. Experience doesn't count for anything if its bad experience. Just want a few people on here to admit that I have been right all along. Stop throwing their toys out of the pram for being wrong and trying to nit pick their way out of an impossible situation. It's about what is right and what is wrong. I've been attacked for speaking the truth for two years on here from the likes of you. It has been proved beyond all doubt now that I was right all along. I would just like to hear you say that. Jules marshalled a better overall defensive/team performance from the back with match winning performances. He may well have let a goal or sometimes two in, but he sure as s*** saved a lot more from going in. Not like our Wayne who lets one and then opens the flood gates. As you lot love stats so much, have a look a the amount of times Jues let in more than two goals in a PL game compared to Wayne.
