So the front pages of the papers this morning are full of Gwyneth Paltrow and Angelina Jolie, saying they were groped by this guy years ago. But why now? Both these actresses are established and have never been afraid to speak their minds in the past.
The guy looks seedy and lets face it, the casting couch has been going on since films appeared on the screen.
But you have to question why they are only speaking now. I guess it might be to help their careers and make them heroes for speaking up. But if it's true then they should have spoken up years ago, maybe as soon as they became famous, to prevent others being abused.

Well who knows - from what's being reported it sounds like his behaviour was widely known about within his organisation. It seems AJ never worked for him again and GP told Brad Pitt who confronted Weinstein at the time.

Also having heard the tape, I'm surprised the Fed's didn't take more action.

His missus has now left him, and having seen her on the telly this morning, I can honestly say I 'would'.

A fair few good points made.
He has admitted to 'trying-it-on', but not to un-consensual sexual activity.

Let's face it, who hasn't done similar in a night club ? How else are you meant to get a shag, if you don't ask ?

His wife has now started divorce proceedings. Hmmmm. I thinks he is giving her all his assets in preparation for victim compensation.

Skin read this earlier in the newspaper. Seems more to do with some fashion line she has which people were threatening to boycott. Money talks it would seem.

I've never made a pass that involved getting my p**** out and masturbating into a pot plant.

The bloke even came out and admitted, with the usual caveats of its not really my fault I sexually harass women for decades, but 'the culture'.

F**k him, he's a sex pest.

Why are the speaking up now, because its come out. Remember this guy is one of the most influential people in Hollywood, and a producer of major movies - If you accused him, chances of working in the future were non-existent (even if you never worked for him, producers fund major motion pictures - do the math of how that influence could f**k your career).

Knowing someone who used to work for his organisation it was an open secret. I was of aware of the allegations over a year ago when it was thought it was all going to come out then.

Not really, there is a world of difference between making a pass at someone and sexual harassment. Nothing wrong with making a pass or suggesting to someone 'to go back to your room etc'.

Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I usually flirt a bit, and if the flirting starts going somewhere start to get a bit more on. Rather than going straight to a grope, or exposing myself.

It seems he lent him his magic hat though because if the allegations are true, Weinstein scores all ****** night.

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.

He could make you or break you, and he enjoyed doing both of these things.

Read Peter Biskind's Down and Dirty Pictures or watch the documentary Overnight for an insight into how Weinstein operated.

This kind of thing coming out is mostly a good thing.

I say mostly because I can't stand the opportunity feminists and SJWs use to waffle their moralizing and ideology.

I also don't like that everyone who was connected and knew comes out to kick him now he's down but not earlier. All looking for pats on the back.

Sure Jamie makes a good point about not damaging your career.....But you can't have your cake and eat it and have any class......If you are going to dance with the devil you can't then present yourself as whiter than white. Not in my book anyway.....You become tinted with his colours.

But I have little sympathy for this guy myself (other than a small concern that he may be suicidal). Mainly because he so obviously didn't have a concern for others himself.

People like this who abuse their power and exploit others for their own benefit entirely deserve what they get.
