One of my favourite all time comedians so really saddened by this. The fact he was Palace as well only made him all the more endearing.

Yeh, he was part of the palace family, others include jo brand, andre vincent, mark steele, jay and will from inbetweeners, bill wyman, bill nighy, captain sensible, that gmtv fcukable girl, ronnie corbett and ov course nookie bear! RIP SEAN HUGHES, least he got something to smile about on saturday!

Legend ! other famous palace i know of, niel morrisey, andre vincent, mark steele, bill wyman, bill nighy, jo brand, will and jay from inbetweeners, ronnie corbett, captain sensible (saw him at the cup final),eddie izzard and of course, Nookie bear! R,I,P SEAN, glad the bhoys gave you a good send off on saturday!

RIP Sean. Always great value on Buzzcocks and 51 is no age.

I hope the numbing of the Palace-induced pain we've all indulged in over the years and Sean's cause of death aren't linked.

Feeling very mortal today.
