If you have seen the question I assume you think the ref in the Leicester game was correct even though it was a blatant penalty.

I only asked the question just to check if you blindly always say the ref is correct in every game or just the Palace games . Nothing wrong in that I was just checking to see if you really were just a WUM on these boards.

The incident in question must have been re-played umpteen times and from all these 'Slow-Mo' replays it does appear that there is a case for awarding a penalty
but there were players between the referee and the players concerned so his view might have not been the best accordingly he cannot award the decision if there is any doubt in his mind.We are all great referees having seen incidents many times on replays ! Very different out on the field of play I can assure you.

As I have mentioned many times before, officials do err from time to time and one shouldn't expect anything different.

Let me remind you of something . On Saturday in the match thread you were chucking the race card around. Saying the foul on Zaha wasn't given because Madely is racist. So applying the same logic explain why the foul on Townsend was. ?????

If you could do it without a barrage of foul mouthed expletives I would be most grateful

The foul on Townsend was given because he isn't Zaha. I don't suppose Madley's premise is that fouls against Zaha don't count because he is black: there are plenty of other black players who don't get the same treatment. But it's obvious that he assumes whenever Zaha is on the ground that he got there with no help from another player because he's decided in advance that he's a cheat.

Zaha is fast, light and tricky so it might not take much to push him over. But dishonest? Bollocks.

Too many refs do perceive Palace as being a dirty team. however Yellow Card score was 1-2. we have to hope that we do not get the class of referee who would give both WZ and AT red cards for diving when they are fouled in the penalty area.

Where is the evidence of this ?

I have to say that Madley’s performance on Saturday was poor. He really seems to have a down on Wilf and is very slow to give him anything yet I still very quick to give decisions in favour of others.

West Ham were quick to go down even if there was no challenge and Madley was happy to oblige. There were a number of occasions, particularly in mid-field when their tackles were given the benefit of the doubt and ours weren’t.

I’d be happy if we don’t see Mr Madley again.
