I haven't yet decide on the mode of transport I will use.
I am led to believe that getting away from the ground in a car can be a bit of a nightmare.
By train I would have to use Brighton rail station in the centre and then somehow get to/from the darned AMEX.
My journey from my local station to/from Brighton station is approx 30 mins.
I see you turning up in a vintage car, dressed in a deer stalker hat, plus twos and a velvet blazer with a monocle, a bit like mr Toad from wind in the willows.
No offence intended

I get it. You think the 'parp' was from Willo's Mr Toad-esque car horn.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

Just out of interest how did you manage to get a ticket. You mentioned before that you rarely go to away games. Are you in with the Palace fans or blagged one for their end? (No pun intended)

Getting away from the ground is indeed an absolute nightmare... Be prepared for a long wait after the game.

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

Leave 15 mins early with the not so smug g1mps at 2-0 to the palace.

When they beat us 3-0 we left with about 10-15 mins left and i was shocked how many Brighton fans had left. Beating your rivals 3-0 and you piss off home early i would savor every second and rub it in their faces for as long as i could.

Surely if you keep your colours hidden and gob shut you will have freedom of movement? Last time I was at the Amex my mate was p1ssed and mouthy but I was the one who got the punch in the teeth because of him. This time I'm going solo...

This really is a challenge. Police weren't interested last time that my son and I needed to go towards Brighton. We got herded on to the special back to East Croydon. Leaving the ground early could be the key, although that's not for me.

I managed to get one to Lewes ok last time and avoided the East Croydon one. Still had to be herded at about 1mph to the station mind

It took me an hour to get out of the car park last time I went.
