Deep down none of us know what level he's at. He's saved eminently saveable ones and conceded hard ones -- generally WH's MO. I just have a deep doubt Jules is anywhere near good enough still. much as I love the fella.

A) Brentmeister blows his gasket and becomes no more; or
B) Brentmeister realises his blood pressure issues are just not worth it; or
C) He just gives up because those that are repetitive, loudest and illogical will eventually get their hooks into a different project of irrationality.
D) The mods do something about this because I am convinced many, many users don't post on here or look anymore because of this drivel.

Yawn. We have let in so many goals through errors this year that something needs to give. However, we have been sloppy all over the park. There is no difference between what Sakho did against Chelsea and what Dann/Speroni did at the weekend, except Sakho got away with it and Dann/Speroni didn’t.

Similarly the 1 v 1 that Benteke missed came from defensive fragility, the only reason they got away with it was because Benteke had just come on after a long period out.

That is what football is about, brilliance, errors and luck and opinions. That’s what makes it worth watching. Why do differences of opinion have to become something that we have to turn into reasons for abuse.

Sorry you are just wrong on this ,I have tried to explain why but you do not , or choose not to understand.
Someone has said above all errors are the same for keepers as they usually result in the same result , a goal. This is correct but the nature differs , as in mistakes in normal places of work. For instance if some one works for you and makes a mistake , and we all do , you investigate it , find out why and help them put it right. Most of the time it's a one off in the moment I do not know why I did that mistake. But if you find out that the mistake was down to them doing something stupid that they thought was clever and better than the proper way of doing things , then you have a word , and hope they do not do it again.
Now when they do the same thing again, especially when they are trying to prove that what they did before was not so bad then that is gross incompetence / misconduct and grounds for dismissal.
This is what Speroni did Saturday , you even said yourself that you thought he laid the ghost of Campbell , and that is what he was probably trying to do , that is arrogance and stupidity in the game situation.
I can understand your disappointment , in that Roy has given your favourite a chance in goal , rightly so as he needs to know, but that he has not really done anything like as well as you hoped he might.
He cost us two points Saturday , and going on your rules for Hennessey has cost us 3 other points and a clean sheet against Chelsea.
You will say , like you do to all on this subject , I am twisting and ignoring facts , but as you will argue that black is white to make Speroni superman and Hennessey the devil you should not use that .
Now I am sure that you are correct in what you say that Hennessey has played is last and is out in January and I am pleased for you , but let's hope for the sake of CPFC that the Speroni you see turns up and plays until we get a new keeper , and he makes some vital saves at vital signs , and keeps the odd clean sheet.
