I agree. If he gets fit then a longer run in the team and someone like Roy in charge I think he could be a great player for us.

Connor's long overdue comeback has apparently been deferred for at least another TWO months. Question: Will he play for us at all this season???

If true got to right him off for the season surely. Will take him ages to get back up to match fitness. Shame as I do rate him.

Heard his rehabilitation keeps taking one step forward then two back. Some people just don’t recover from this type of injury like others can.

Got to get rid of this guy he was nothing special anyway and now he's always out strikes me he doesn't really want to come back and if it's true he is injured again he needs to retire on medical grounds

If he did he would try harder to get better wouldn't he. I suppose you blame disabled people for not trying hard enough to recover too. 'Your're blind? Well REALLY squint up your eyes and try harder to see.' It is what it is, if he isn't recovering then I am sure it's not for the want of trying. Footballers tend to enjoy their jobs and hate being away from playing.

The CPFC site says: 'Connor Wickham is still a couple of months away from a return' That implies he is due back in January, which has been the prognosis for a while.
