A couple of years ago he got a few goals but his record's 18 from 82 Premier games - is it really worth paying millions for someone who's only scored 7 in the last 2 seasons?
Forget IMO & keep thinking...

that's why we missed a trick not getting Niasse in - Ulloa looks a similar situation - he has quality, needs to get out from his current situation but there's a risk he might nor deliver because he hasn't been playing regularly enough - but with Wickham coming back in the new year, Ulloa could be par of a choice of three very decent strikers - definite upgrade on Frazier Campbell.

Hes a good choice. Overtime I see him come on he makes a difference and has a good eye for goal.

I like the idea.

Good point. I think Tekkers will have a run for most of the season. We need somebody to come off the bench and look threatening. Could do this job. Probably looking for 2 strikers bearing in mind Wickham's no return date.

Need a physical presence in case Benteke gets injured again and a more mobile striker. But easier said than done from what I am hearing.

Since what you are hearing amounts to SFA as far as any actual knowledge is concerned, how do you reach that conclusion?

If this is true doesn't that mean that one of our current loans has to be sent back to their parent club?

Yeah has to be nonsense unless RLC is returning to Chelsea.

Roy said in his pre-match banter that we couldn't sign another PL player on loan as we already have two, so this stinks of BS.

Possibly ... but IF RLC is unlikely to play for us again this season it would make perfect sense to send him back.

Just to add, I have absolutely no idea what his injury is and the timeline for his recovery but did see something about him being unlikely to make the England World Cup squad.
