Clattenberg has helped everyone else except Palace. Especially United in the Cup Final he even admitted that as well!

I read that not as "fixing it for Spurs to lose" but "if Spurs lose they won't ve able to say it was for want of a bent ref. But better not make it too obvious by giving big decisions". By his own admission he failed to issue three red cards which he should have given and as a result the match degenerated into a violent, chaotic farce. It was probably the worst referee performance of the season. And his excuse for it is media management. The man was and is a disgrace to football.

If Clattenburg had issued 'Reds' willy nilly he would have been accused on here of ruining the game and "It's all about him" blah, blah, blah... I have made my views perfectly clear about Clattenburg and his excellence as a referee and I stand gummed to my position on this. Not going to make any further comments on this thread because as sure as night follows day it will disintegrate into vitriol and vituperation and into yet another tedious WILLO thread.So all barbs and attempts to lure me into discussion will go unanswered.

Listening to that I’m wondering if he may be due a knighthood next month! Lost count how many times he mentioned his own name. The Aussies called Kevin Pietersen FIGJAM (f*** I’m good, just ask me...for non-cricket fans). And it’s not far off the mark for Clattenberk! And he said Man U fans didn’t like him!!! Really!?!
