Can anyone explain to me what the fans West Ham are proresting about. I don’t usually take an interest in other clubs troubles.

It’s reported in today papers that David Gold who is 81 was hit by a £2 coin, Ok the Owners of WH are not exactly my cup of tea, specially Mrs Brady but to throw coins is totally unexceptable. As for the comments that Mark Noble has said after I’m in totally agreement with but. If this was just original Joe bloggs on the street and he took the same actions as Noble we would be charged with assault.

Some of their fans are like babies "they don't know what they want but they want it now". I assume their beef is that the owners have not spent any money on the team.

It will be interesting to see what Trevor Brooking sorry I meant the FA do about the crowd trouble. Anyone expecting a points deduction or closing the ground is very optimistic.

I am amazed that trouble happened this was a demonstration announced weeks ago. Yet again West Ham don't seem prepared to pay for the appropriate policing and stewarding. No doubt that is all the fault of the taxpayer.

West Ham has called a meeting of all London Stadium stakeholders. Who are the stakeholders? The club, stewards and the police yes or are they trying to drag others such as the Olympic authority into their mess.

On the radio and TV their were the usual West Ham apologists "its a family club". What nonsense they are on a par with Millwall for thuggish behaviour the only difference is that they get away with it whilst Millwall get rightly pilloried.

They are significantly worse than Millwall. Some of their so called fans are thick, whiney morons who are never happy. They use hostile or violent behaviour to articulate their animal instincts because they know no better.

I have family who are supporters and offered me tickets. Whenever I used to go to the Boleyn Ground significant numbers of "fans" were moaning about something or other. In recent memory, I cannot ever recall an occasion when they weren't ... got so fed up with it I stopped taking up the opportunity of a freebie afternoon in their executive lounge because of the unpleasant negative atmosphere in and around the ground.

It completely spoiled the football experience and I would NEVER go anywhere near their place again even if they were playing Palace.

This was serious, an ugly and unstable atmosphere throughout the match.

Not just a matter of an occasional looney on the pitch.

A hostile demonstration feet away from the directors while the game was proceeding, numerous incidents amongst the crowd who seemed to regard the game as an unnecessary interference to their protests.

No police and absent stewarding not for the first time, it isn't enough for West Ham that others, including us, pay their bills.

A disgrace to the memory of Bobby Moore.

We don't want anything like this at Selhurst Park this is a warning to us.

Trevor Brooking's opinion:

"The level of aggression was something I couldn't believe a West Ham fan would get involved in."

Thanks all for the update, I did read a few months that there is a pending inquiry as to where and why this move to the Olympic stadium has cost so much money and the extra £155 million of tax payers money has been either spent or unaccounted for.

I think it just boils down to that some of these so called fans just go to matches to cause trouble not really knowing what they are protesting about. I have always had this impression that West Ham fans have a very high opinion of themselves, and just like these moron Arsenal fans calling for Wenger's head.
West Ham have basically been given a new state of the art stadium at a greatly reduced rent price of £2.5 million a year ok some of the facilities are not up to scratch, but how many football clubs can say they have practically been given a new stadium.

At the end of the day it is an amalgam of W.Ham supporters who loved the 'Boleyn' hating the soulless 'London Stadium' and their results which have plunged them into a relegation battle.

The 'Heart' of the club ripped away following the move and matters on the field of play not going well at all.

Throwing coins at a 81 yr old is an absolute disgrace, protest yes, but that?

They should have the book thrown at them though given Brookings connections it is unlikely

the dignified don't even enter in the game

I have always had a high regard for Trevor Brooking, but for him to say that he cant believe that West Ham fans can use that much aggression is burying his head in the sand.

I have a few mates that support West Ham and they are sick of these groups of fans and find what they have been doing disgraceful.

The reasons for this keep changing one minutes it's about identity of the club moving to that new stadium next minute it's not enough money spent on the squad then it's because they should be a team fighting for European glory.

I hope they ban all these idiots which should be simple thing to do they will all be season ticket holders so easy to track
