I'd have thought so, but perhaps we're waiting to see what division we're in before making decisions on contract renewals?

I’d go along with that, he would be great in the championship. Wonder what Ward would think of sitting on the bench every week though?

Or the players are waiting to see which division we are playing in.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Ward and Kelly have proven to be players that keep the club fighting to avoid the relegation zone. You need to think in perspective. What do you want by offering them new contracts? To maintain the same level for the team in the PL?? A club's strategy should be to grow, to get better, for Palace that would be constantly finishing in the top 10. That should be the desiderate anyway. A position that Everton, Leicester or West Ham have achieved. From there, in time, you could even advance further, bring in new investors, maybe even have some European or domestic success once in a while (like Leicester).

It's the end of an era for Ward and Kelly. Thank them for their services and have them be on their way. You can't just give new contracts to every player who has been average. It's time for someone else there, someone fresh. Think about it....give another 3 years to someone just because he's come on once in a while with moderate success???

Same for Sakho, he's been good thisyear, but he already had weight problems. After such a long injury, do you think he'll ever regain his fitness again? Not likely. Maybe give him a new contract but only after thorough medical examination and if he proves he can lose that weight.

No-one think Yohan is still an important player and contract worth a look at? Thought he did well coming on early after an injury on Sat, and seriously underrated in our side...

I think the wages might be the issue and what he wants and accepts. £80k and not playing most of the games or all of the matches he does.

Apply that to Sako as well.

At the rate Bissaka is going there's an element in that with Ward, although we offered 40 or 45 to that Arsenal RB who's probably twiddling his thumbs.

maybe its time to cash in with Dann, I would prefer to keep Kelly, Sakho, Tomkins, and presumably Jach will figure as centre backs, Do we sell Riedeward? souare? as PVA and Schlupp at LBs and AWB and Ward at RBs

Can't see Dann (or Puncheon) being back before Christmas - both will then need game time to get their match-fitness up. Reckon we will still have both next season.
