Well, that's not an extra layer that's using an existing one. Also we haven't gone to war. I don't agree with constraining a PM in this way. Time can be a factor here. For example responding to nuclear or other attack. However, if a democracy voted for a change like that I would accept it....while disagreeing with the logic.

The right put forward a vote for action on Syria years ago....you know, when something could have been done about it...before Russia and Iran were propping Assad up. The left voted against it along with a minority of right votes....that was all it needed for inaction. It's your side who got us here.....non intervention has consequences too.

I am disappointed that we got involved. It is difficult to justify going in whilst ignoring the Yemen. However because laughably Saudi Arabia is our ally we close our eyes to what is going on there. The strike was purely political. The Allies told the Syrians it was coming so they had days to move people and equipment as evidenced by the lack of fatalities. We just hit empty buildings so what was the point.

Yemen holds no strategic interest for us. Syria does hold strategic interest.....It's called Israel and avoiding WW3. Saudi Arabia are a bulwark against Iran. It is in our interest to keep Syria split....Assad in the south and the Kurds in the north. The point to hitting these buildings....which I agree were a giant virtue signal was also to impact our wiliness to defend western interests in the region......we already showed that in defending the Kurds against attack a few months ago where Russian mercenaries died from air attack.

They aren't even interested in getting into government. They just want a communist Labour party at all costs. The anti Iraq war movement was the only way they could attack Tony Blair - by picking up on a technicality dispite the fact the Sadam Hussain was a tirant who had used chemicals weapons and was responsible for the torture an murder of his own people. The loony lefies' predicessor to Corbyn, George Galloway even went to meet Sadam to praise him. Meanwhile, Corbyn happily took his seat in the Labour government, representing them and picking up a pay check despite the fact he said he was opposed to everything they stood for. The Corbyn cult is trying to do the same thing again. It's not to protect the people of Syria, it's just part of their fashionable agenda to denounce Trump and the Tories. Russia has started two wars on the boarders of Europe that have been going on for years. They are scared of having EU democracy reach their boarders and want control of the Ukraine and Syrian governments. It's previously done the same with Afghanistan and Georgia. Plus there's a proxy war going on with the west. Corbyn's idea that he can play the stop the war card again is idiotic. It negates the fact that war is already raging and the people go Syria and Ukraine have already had "the f*** bombed out of them" to use your words. Corbyn either completely ignorant of the fact that Russia is completely corrupt. Money and power is far more important than people's lives. Or he is just willfully ignoring it. Either way, he's unfit to be a politician.
