He really needs to weigh up the positives and negatives of a move to a top 6 club. Positives- more money, European football, possible trophies, playing with better players. Negatives - A very real scenario of not playing regularly (been there before with Man Utd), going off form by not playing regularly and playing even less (see Ross Barkley), having to move away (if going to Manchester or Liverpool). Does he value playing football or the prestige and the money ? I think he just wants to play football.

Negatives - A very real scenario of not playing regularly (been there before with Man Utd), going off form by not playing regularly and playing even less (see Ross Barkley), having to move away (if going to Manchester or Liverpool).

Does he value playing football or the prestige and the money ?

I think he just wants to play football.

I think he'd find it difficult to go to anywhere that'd pay him more than we do. At this week's press conference Roy seemed convinced that he'd be here when the new season starts.

Well it's straight from the horses mouth. Saying this is my home and saying he wants to stay means he wants to stay in my book. Going to Citeh, Arsenal etc will mean he won't play every week and Wilf knows it. I think we can push for the Europa league next season under Roy.

Saying this is my home and saying he wants to stay means he wants to stay in my book.

Going to Citeh, Arsenal etc will mean he won't play every week and Wilf knows it.

I think we can push for the Europa league next season under Roy.
