Half of the players you've listed all failed at PL clubs (Vydra, Hernandez etc.) so no thanks.

Shakiri, Evans, Foster, Butland, Rodriquez, Philips, Ayew, Fabianski and Mawson all now officially championship players and all better than that list.

I can't really see the need to get defensive on his behalf. These massive lists of, what are effectively, random players are, for most, tedious and pointless. Very few people want to wade through dozens and dozens of names on a regular basis. Transfer Talk is of questionable value at the best of times, but how would be if every contributor just posted such lists?

Yeah, because you have no clue about football and you don't take into consideration AGE. If you did, you'd know that there's no such thing as "failing" if they were just 19 or 20 or 21. They were just developing. Often, this means taking the route of The Championship to get playing time. By now, all the players who you cliam have failed at PL clubs are pretty developed (some are still improving, yes, but doesn't mean they're not good)

The two players mentioned (Hernandez and Vydra) were I think 23 and 24 the last time they played in the PL. When you consider that Zaha was 24 at the start of this season, I'm not sure age is much of an excuse...

You had to start this....couldn't leave it alone, could you?

Vydra didn't play for Watford at 23. He has been loaned to the Championship since 21. But anyway, Vydra's record in the Premier League is 3 goals and 4 assists in 650 minutes!!!!!

Abel Hernandez did not play bad in the PL. It's just that he played for a sucky team which was relegated. He has 7 goals and 4 assists in 2700 minutes in the PL and 12 goals (excluding penalties) and 6 assists a the top tier of Italian football in 4000 minutes. Also 10 goals and 4 assists in 900 minutes for the Uruguay national team. A total of 43 in 7600 minutes. All until the age of 26 (last year, when they went down). That's not bad for a 26 yo.
And in the Championship, he's been ahead of the league: 27 goals and 6 assists in 4200 minutes.

Do you want him to be Messi???

I'm talking about players who are currently better than what Palace has, not Champions League winners.
Cause what you have is Benteke. 23 goals (excluding penalties) and 11 assists in his last 6800 minutes in the PL.

And in my opinion Abel Hernandez is more mobile, more agile and an overall better striker than Benteke.

Start what? Why do you always react so personally when someone challenges your views on a forum? If I was as knowledgeable on a topic as you claim to be, I certainly wouldn't care what a few simple football fans thought...

You said the posted didn't have a clue about football, citing the 'fact' that Vydra and Hernandez were 19-21 when they were playing in the Prem - I was just pointing out that wasn't true.

No surprise you've veered wildly off tangent and started with the goals to minutes ratios again, which are the best stat in football, unless of course they don't support your opinion, in which case they should be ignored.

I was just making a joke. Sorry it wasn't very obvious.

Steve Bruce said a couple of years ago that the player saves his best for when the sun is shining !

Had his injury problems this season, only making 10 apps but he did score 8 goals ! Last season he only got 5 goals in about 30 apps but he was playing in a stuggling PL team.
The previous season in the Championship he scored 20 goals in about 50 apps.

Can go through games unnoticed and then pops up with a goal.
