Hi all!

Some of you may already know me and that I live in Sweden.

If any of you are planning on going to either of the two games versus Helsingör (Elsingore in English) or Halmstad you are welcome to pick my brains regarding travel, routes and the like.

Are there any flights from Alicante/Valencia for the second game,wherever that is.

No free booze on offer either then? ........

Depends on your girth! In this heat (it was 31 degrees in my gaff at eleven last night) you won't need a sleeping bag.

Copenhagen is like Heathrow and Malmö is like a Southend or a Oxford airport. It's not even close in terms of size or choice of airlines.

At the end of the day if it comes down to money then you have to factor in transfer costs (in the UK and this side) and so on.

Copenhagen is directly on the major train line, Malmö you need to get a bus into the city.

If you are going to the Halmstad game only you have the choice of Gothenburg but it's much the same problem.

If it were me, for either game, I would fly to Copenhagen with EasyJet (I would only fly RyanAir if I were fleeing a war zone and even then...) and stay in Sweden because it is cheaper than Denmark.

Helsingör is a 20 minute boat journey from where I live (Helsingborg) and Halmstad is a 51 minute train journey from here.

The train from Copenhagen Airport goes to Helsingör in one direction and to Helsingborg/Halmstad in the other direction so it's easy to take either option.

So it really boils down to which game you are taking in or if you are taking both in.
