Sounds more like wishful thinking coupled with a bit of blind faith from someone with his head buried firmly in the sand. I don’t begrudge Wilf another move but if this story is true then the timing isn’t great. As seems to be the norm at Palace, it’s another pre season bombshell. I actually doubt that this is about money. More likely Wilf can only see another season of firefighting ahead. And it’s hard to see anything else at the moment. Exactly, and I cannot understand for the life of me why more effort was not made to keep Cabye.He will cost a kings ransom to replace like for like.
