Looks like their joy and celebrations have turned into rioting in Paris..

The Express seemed to make a lot out of a bottle being thrown and a bin set alight

Very hard to actually judge the extent of the problems.

Arrogant perhaps, but correct.

I wonder who outnumbered whom; arrogant French tw@ts or English people saying and/or singing “It’s coming home!” in mass hysteria.

So the feedback I have had from France this morning was

'Yesterday was unreal. People dancing in the street. It was really moving!'

I just hate papers like the Express that look for the negative in every damned thing.

Where's Europalace? Ahhh, silly me, it's not England fans that have caused the damage...I stand corrected, as you were.

I posted a link to a valid and real news arcticle about England fans vandalising public & private property in England. It seems that you are very angry and jealous that France won the tournament and England couldn't even manage to get a result against Belgium. Maybe you're also upset that you didn't get your 'day off' today that so many people were demanding before the game against Belgium had even kicked off.

So French supporters go crazy celebrating winning the WC final while the English supporters go crazy winning a quarter final. That kind of shows the difference and gulf in expectations and levels of football involved.

It seems to me that there's not much difference in the level of hooliganism.

A couple of dozen yobs in Paris see it as an opportunity to loot, wouldn't have been vastly different here and on par with what happened when we played.

So that means we are all just the same then. Well, quelle surprise

Wouldn't happen if England won

Celebrations would have involved 3 cheers for the team and a round of for he's a jolly good fellow for garath Southgate. Followed by some polite clapping by the more exuberant countrymen.
