Regardless of where people are from seen people from the UK who are excellent at there jobs, and others who are waiting to get sacked and move onto the next temp role. Same with Eastern Europeans some are fantastic and really eager to impress, others want to grab as much cash as they can an run. On he other hand I’d say this is definitely true in low end retail. British people just can’t be bothered, people from other countries seem to realise if they take a bit of pride in there work then they will earn some self respect and the respect of others. When people say they need more immigration for where there is a shortage of skills they do need to check is there a shortage of skills, or just a shortage of skills at the price people are prepared to pay?
