He has shown when fit he is a quality player but I have no confidence that he will remain fit for long once he is back! Big Ben & Wickham are too similar players & you can't play the 2 together.I know he has played on the wing for Blunderland but I wouldn't play him there & he is not a starter for me which is a good job because he is injury prone.

Kane and Llorente did ok wait and see.

when fit, wickham is quality and deserves a chance to prove his worth. its easy to put him down but hes a very good 2nd striker

I got loads of grief for those comments. It’s a shame we didn’t pick up on his fragility before splashing the cash.

Don't think he's lacking in ability, strength or pace clearly a very good player. Not so sure about his temperament or desire at times although obviously sad to see him pick up such a bad injury.

Looked good today. Brief cameo, but looked a lot more aware positianally than Alexander, some nice little link ups, if he manages to stay fit, I fancy him to be our main striker this season. Edited by coulsdoneagle (28 Jul 2018 7.42pm)

yes, even in that brief spell you can see the quality and awareness compared to Benteke and Sorloth, fingers crossed he stays fit

I am praying to god we can get Conor back to full fitness and firing on all cylinders this season.. 6 foot 3 and a lot more mobile than Benteke and Sorloth. There is no reason why he wont be our main man up top. Sorloth is not a premiership player and never will be. I actually cringe when I watch him play. Awful in the air and absolutely useless on the deck.
