According to today's media it's Newcastle currently sniffing around Riedewald which if true could mean that he will leave. What made me smile is the comment that Benitez is the sort of manager that could probably bring the best out in him. Whilst possibly true it's the sort of comment that every fan thinks about their own manager

And they’re willing to spend nothing so it’s no wonder on all counts including Riedewald.

Not sure if I was a player I would want to join Newcastle at this time.

They were probably thinking along the lines that FDB would be our manager half a decade minimum. That would save a lot of money on paying off Mangers. So if we had to totally change the playing staff and take a big hit last Summer in wages to get FDB's exact players in then so be it, it wouldn't matter because Palace will be playing his style for the foreseeable.
